The Polish shipyard Delphia Yachts wants to get involved in the highly competitive twelve-metre boat market

Until the beginning of 2004, the names Sportina and Delphia primarily stood for a wide range of small cruisers. Then, three years ago, there was a change of direction: the Sportina 860 was the first boat to leave the trailer boat segment at the beginning of 2002. The new flagship, the Delphia 40, had its world première at the beginning of 2004.

The Delphia 40 is aimed at the mass market for charter boats. A bold goal, as the competition from France and Germany is formidable. At around 150000 euros for a fully equipped yacht, the Delphia 40 remains below the French competition and is worth a closer look for this reason alone. However, it is not only the price, but above all the feeling of space that makes the Polish yacht interesting, even outside the targeted charter segment.
